Spider-Man: Far from Home

The Web-Slinger returns in a great sequel, proving that Marvel is far from over with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. - 6/10

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a good film. I had concerns going in about handling the sequel. Luckily, they were all washed away by the end of the film.

The acting was good: no cringy or recited performances. Jake Gyllenhaal wasn’t that great for me even though his characters had a good and convincing story which, unfortunately, lacks in terms of creativity as it seems unoriginal and done before. I loved how the character of Peter Parker evolved in this film, the development he’s undertaking. The screenplay, in general, was fresh except for what’s pointed above and all three acts were great. The film’s pacing wasn’t boring, the cinematography was well-done, the costume and character design were good. The music by Michael Giacchino is perfect and I wished he used the original Spider-Man theme featured in the 1960s cartoon which was used in the trailers and in Homecoming. The CGI was bad at some points.

Overall, Spider-Man: Far From Home was fun.

Reminder: You should definitely stick around for both Mid-Credits and After-Credits scenes.
