Superman on acid! - 4/10

I enjoyed this film regardless its flaws that, most of them, lay within the main character's arc: the plotted element of surprise eliminated all proper character development. Many plot points weren’t properly explained but that didn’t ruin the viewing experience. Simply put, the story answers the question “What if Superman was evil?” Superman was never mentioned nor referenced during the film, but the parallels are there and the answer to this question was properly executed. The film was full of unnecessary jump-scares and violence that served the narrative nonetheless. The final act of the film delivered a satisfying pay-off that makes you beg for more.
