Sometimes you don’t feel indulged in a story.... and this will definitely ruin your experience. “The Girl in the Spider’s Web” could’ve been way deeper, but the treatment was very superficial it didn’t leave an impact on me. The movie lost my interest in it’s second and third act. It had a great introduction, could’ve been an intense action/thriller with strong characters. Unfortunately it ended up being a good film that lost it’s purpose the moment the real action began. Claire Foy was a good choice, she performed well but there was no character development to help her, plus Lakeith Stanfield’s character had no purpose in this film. You might enjoy the movie if you’re looking for an action treat without taking into consideration the other elements.
