Revolutionary, bold and exquisite!! - 9.5/10

Bold, exquisite, emotional... many adjectives were used in the description of this timeless piece of cinematic art. So, allow me to add one more, REVOLUTIONARY!!

In the years after the Civil War, Jo March lives in New York and makes her living as a writer, while her sister Amy studies painting in Paris. Amy has a chance encounter with Theodore, a childhood crush who proposed to Jo but was ultimately rejected. Their oldest sibling, Meg, is married to a schoolteacher, while shy sister Beth develops a devastating illness that brings the family back together.

How do you know that a film is crafted to perfection?! When in a short period of just 2 hours, every possible sense known to humankind is invoked in your body. From sadness to joy, from pitty to admiration, from emptiness to feeling proud... Little Women managed to create a feris wheel of emotions inside my soul and with each coming round, i was experiencing a new kind of emotions!

Director Greta Gerwig, a REVOLUTIONARY woman created a moving piece of art with so much depth and so much heart, that people will long remember! Even in the far future! She intricately directed one of the best motion picture I've personally seen these past few years!!

As previously mentioned, this film generates so much heart and soul, and this is partially due to the one of a kind story that knows no restrictions (either in time or space)!! It's universal. Eventually it's a story for women made by women! A thoughtful gesture to feminism and what it truly means (the many faces of feminism).

In addition, the entire movie is character driven!!! With that being said, Little Women introduced us to many inspirational and heart-warming characters so that each spectator can relate to atleast one of them! Each character had her own presence, her own story and her own message and they all managed to shine equally!

Casting wise, Laura Dern, Emma watson and Timothee Chalamet's performances were absolutely captivating and sincere!! But,  Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen dominated every scene with their strong presence, charming charisma and raw talent!! Meryl Streep, well she's Meryl Streep!!!

The entire film felt like it came straight from an 18th century novel! With all the costumes, colors and amazing set and sceneries, one can only dream! And the amazing camera work made this film a complete masterpiece!!

Definitely recommended!!!
