The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

A classical holiday film - 6.5/10

by This Is My Review

I don’t know the original story, but this movie looks like Alice in Wonderland.... without Tim Burton. “The Nutcracher and the Four Realms” may not be the perfect Disney Live-action ever made, but it was enjoyable and entertaining. The writer and Directors wanted to make a classic film, as if they were playing it safe and not taking any risks, they decided to stick to the original “Disney Form”. Amazing costume Design, great CGI and the strongest performances were Mackenzie Foy and Keira Knightly. The Ballet scene was my favorite, a clever way to introduce the background story without being too clichee. The characters were explaining each action and message and that was annoying at some moments. It’s a great family movie that contains all the elements to be a classic Disney film
