The famous true story of “Ford vs Ferrari” presented on the big screen with Christian Bale and Matt Damon... seems perfect right? “Le Mans ‘66” is definitely one of the good movies that are based on true events but I had this strange feeling that the story itself was stronger than the execution. Bale and Damon’s performance was amazing and the racing scenes were beautifully shot and directed, but every other scene felt weak especially the ones including a life lesson or a message. “Le Mans ‘66” is a good movie that was saved by its story and cast.
