Just like the first one, Zombieland: Double Tap’s tone was unique and consistent. It proves that you can actually make a sequel that has the same vibes without being repetitive or lame. They added small details to the story to make it look more realistic and to answer some questions which wasn’t bad. The four main leads were charismatic as always, as if they were still playing their roles for the past ten years. You easily sympathize with them, and understand their motives and actions. Even the new characters were interesting, some of them added a big value to the movie instead of just ruining the story. As for the comedy, it was without any doubt the best part of this sequel. Most of the funny scenes worked perfectly and I couldn’t detect any misplaced joke. On the other hand, some scenes felt a bit predictable or clichee but none of them ruined the experience, plus the movie had many twists so it wasn’t a huge issue. It’s the funniest movie of the year (so far).... if you’re a fan of zombies, guns and laughs then you will probably enjoy this one.
