Family movie - 7/10

“The Nutcracker and the four realms” was good. It is really entertaining and fun to watch. Unfortunately it hasn’t met my expectations. And I don’t mean it in a bad way, it was really interesting to see, but i was expecting much much more, especially after waiting for two years till it’s out. However, one should admit that fairytale movies are a bit challenging, especially with all the CGI going on. The storyline isn’t fresh, actually it gave me some “Narnia” and “alice in wonderland” vibes. And saying that Keira Knightley got her moment of fame in this movie doesn’t do it justice. Overall, “the Nutcracker and the four realms” is a highly recommended “family” movie but it was not my cup of tea.
