Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Tarantino never disappoints!! - 8.75/10

Quentin Tarantino's ninth film, ONCE UPON A TIME IN... HOLLYWOOD, is nothing short of genius.

This film visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore.

The best part about this Cinematic masterpiece is its multilayered plot and diverse storyline. While, in fact, it doesn't necessarily scream over the top , it still is extremely entertaining and provocative. But my only criticism is that the storyline and the film in general weren't as strong or intense as I would've liked. But that wasn't a major turnoff. Tarantino is famously known for his unique narrative technique that , by itself, is award worthy and highly applaudable.

To continue, the relationship that Tarantino built between his film's characters is simply electrifying. Each character, no matter how small, played a major role in creating a nostalgic vibe that dominated the whole runtime of the film. Bratt Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are simply a duo to be recokend with. Margot Robbie and Dakota Fanning are, despite their short appearances, مجرمين تمثيل. The amount of talent and hard work these two have put into their performances is unimaginable. Loveddddddd every bit of it.

The Cinematography, camera work/angles, color palette were like a tribute to old Hollywood, to the Golden Era. Each scene and each capture was made with absolute care and delicacy. And in overall, it paid off as the entire film is a chef d'oeuvre.

And might I add, the pace was absolutely perfect, honestly, despite being approximately 3 hours long, it felt way less. Its really immersive and engaging, you'll never experience a minute of boredom. I felt like the entire film was a tribute to Hollywood's Golden Era, to the good ol'times.

In addition, the score/soundtracks were suitable and nostalgic. They were like candy to my ears. And this is something That Tarantino is previously known for as well.

Generally speaking, Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood might just be one of this year's best cinematic experiences.

If you guys are searching for a nostalgic and absolutely entertaining film to watch, then this is the perfect choice.
