Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a mixture of black comedy and drama, written and directed by the academy award winner Martin McDonagh. Frances McDormand as Mildred Hayes, takes her mother courage in both hands and rents three abandonned billboards where she attacks the sheriff Will Willoughby, months after her teenage daughter’s rape and murder, leaving her with little investigation in her case, and ofcourse , frustration. People start attacking her and her son, and find her idea unfair to Willoughby, who’s known as a good man who has been serving his community for pretty much all his life. A lot of action take place, and the movie ends with an unsolved case. The film received 7 nominations at the 90th academy awards and won numerous other awards. It’s without any doubt a good movie, hoping for a continuation and the closure of the girl’s case.
