Widows is a trendy action movie for today’s audience.
It has a suspenseful rhythm and some cool twists in directing.
Plot wise, it’s meant to smash the patriarchy per se and raise awareness on racism and equality in general.
However, what is really dazzling about this film is the cast.
Viola Davis shines in being the woman who intelligently takes the lead on plans.
Another astounding performance was that of Daniel Kaluuya.
He was the most dwelled into his character, and he rocked the mob enforcer role! Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki and Cynthia Erivo’s roles were astonishing as well, and the movie definitely wouldn’t have been the same without them.
