Twisted in every single way possible, Serenity sheds light on the exaggerated thoughts of an introverted child, while living in an unhealthy and abusive family environment.
As complex as it sounds, the film only gets dramatic at the end, but overall you'd enjoy sailing with McConaughey, and you'd come to the conclusion that some bonds are strong enough to defy the rules of #time and space.
