I'll Take Your Dead

I don’t think a bunch of Jump Scares can turn a movie into horror, because that’s the only “scary” aspect in “I’ll take your dead”. The overall experience was disappointing because I couldn’t sympathize with any of the characters and none of their actions really affected me. I think the story had more potential but the weak script made it look cheap and lame. Plus acting wasn’t the best element, the actors were too cold the whole runtime and I couldn’t really connect with any of them. They could’ve used the dead more or create a troubling atmosphere which didn’t happen unfortunately.... I felt zero stress or uncomfort while watching this film and that’s a negative sign. The antagonists were actually funny, they were explaining everything so the whole tone was transformed into a comedy at some point. I was able to predict the jump scares because they were too obvious and added nothing new to the genre, in fact they felt misplaced. “I’ll take your dead” is a disappointing experience that could’ve been better if it used the elements correctly.
