Not That Bad - 7/10

Venom is not as bad as the criticism its getting. In fact, it was really entertaining. But technical wise, it did not work for me. Some scenes were illogical, so many flaws and certainly a wide range of gaps. Tom Hardy’s performance and humor saved this movie. Honestly speaking, I have no clue why super hero movies nowadays are taking over the comedy dimension to a point where it’s becomes exaggerated and eventually loses the action and excitement part. Overall, Venom is a fun movie to watch but the storyline is so typical and basic, as well as the screenplay which is below average. So if you are willing to see a movie just for fun with no added value, Venom is the one.
