Men in Black: International

Predictable yet enjoyable. - 5/10

Did I enjoy watching this movie? YES.

Did I like it? YES.

Is it a good movie? Not entirely.

When aliens that can take the form of any human arrive on earth, decorated Agent H and determined rookie M join forces and embark on a globe-trotting adventure to save the agency - - and ultimately the world - - from their mischievous plans.

As I already mentioned, I had a blast while watching this movie, perhaps due to the fact that this spinoff still, despite the numerous changes, feels like MIB. The essence and the spirit of the originals is still present. I think it's pretty obvious that it wont live up to its predecessor's glory nor succes. But at least we have a new MIB movie.

To continue, I was really surprised by the visuals and special effects. They were actually really decent and explosive. But i wont deny that they couldn't have been a bit better.

With all this being said, I was kinda disappointed with everything else. Starting with the story, it was predictable and boring with no depths or direction whatsoever.

The antagonists were reallyyy interesting but they lacked proper writing and backstory. The protagonists were okay, nothing new nor great.

But the worst thing about MIB is the casting. For starters Chris Hemsworth felt totally out of place, his acting felt extremely forced and his overall performance wasnt that appealing. Same thing for Liam Neeson. But on the other, Tessa Thompson was a gem, I mean this girl is amazing. I personally really loved her.

Last thing, I want to discuss is the action sequences, they were nicely choreographed and all but they weren't as strong and powerful like in previous MIB entries, but honestly that didn't bother me too much.

In the end, MIB INTERNATIONAL is just another predictable movie that viewers will somehow enjoy. Just Like I did.
