Avengers: Endgame

Everything we love and hate about the MCU in a final and epic Avengers installment - 7/10

SPOILERS

-Proceed with caution:

The first act really got us into the aftermath of The Decimation and into the characters’ lives post-snap. I wasn’t a big fan of the whole time travel plot, but I still enjoyed it. In addition, the many nods and revisits to past films were so nostalgic. Endgame was full of emotions and heart, and every character had their own moments to shine, closing off many of their arcs. I cried, I laughed and I cheeredEndgame was a remarkable experience of a lifetime. The third act – the definition of epic – is everything you could hope for: the goosebumpsemotionsactionhumorthe heroes assembling… we can’t ask for more and nothing can ever reach the beauty of the Portals (return of the fallen heroes) moment.

However, a few things didn’t work: 2014 Thanos, The New Time Travel Concept, Thor, and finally the humor felt forced in many scenes.

Finally, AVENGERS: ENDGAME is everything we could have hoped for the conclusion of THE INFINITY SAGA (which doesn’t end with Endgame but with Spider-Man: Far From Home, in theatres July 2019)
