A Lame family movie - 4/10

One thing’s for sure, these films are way better when the dog doesn’t have a dialogue. “A Dog’s Journey” is a family movie meant to entertain. It wasn’t supposed to be complicated yet it was too simple. The dialogue was cheesy and the whole story felt shallow. Coincidence was a major element in this film, we didn’t feel any real threat, plus the movie’s runtime was really long. On the other hand, it had a good message to deliver, the dogs were adorable and I’m sure that fans of this genre will enjoy it.
