Most romcoms usually have weak or silly plots which don’t really make the movie any memorable or enjoyable.
Long Shot may not be the perfect movie in the genre, but is definitely an enjoyable and entertaining film with a rather consistent plot.
The humor is very relative, you could laugh at everything or completely not smile or even simper. The pop culture references were in fact a delightful add, as long as they were merged in a smooth way. (A special appearance awaits rap lovers).
Although this movie holds some cringeworthy scenes, questionable dialogue lines or shots, it is, as a whole, diverting and will surely make your night out very delightful.
