Real, Brutal and touching - 7.5/10

I have to warn you, Hotel Mumbai is not entertaining nor fun... it’s real. The movie has one of the strongest messages I’ve seen this year. They knew how to deliver it in a clever way without using stupid dialogues or melodramatic moments, it was all “true”. Although it was based on true events, Hollywood usually likes to manipulate the story and present one hero who saves the day, this was absent in Hotel Mumbai. All the characters were heroes and each one of them fought this “battle”. This movie is seriously shocking at some point that’s why it feels so real. It had those “Hollywood” moments done for dramatic purposes, they were too obvious but didn’t affect my experience and I found myself sympathizing with the characters (especially Dev Patel) and that’s the most important thing in such movies. Brutal, real and touching.... Hotel Mumbai is a great film not to be missed.
