Talk about major girl power!

Captain Marvel follows the story of Carol Danvers who becomes one of the most powerful heroes of all time when earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Let me start by saying that CM is a Marvel-lous new entry in the MCU that is set to electrify your senses.

Both directors, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, are worthy of a Neverending round of applause for their impeccable work in turning this movie into the masterpiece it is. Their acute attention to the slightest details, even the insignificant ones, was one of the main reasons this movie is as good as it is. To add, the intensity of some scenes is ORGASMIC to say the least. The scene in which Carol obtained her powers is an enchanting spectacle of colors and power.  I was in a total state of pure bliss and my senses were all over the place. Boden and Fleck truly outdid themselves.

In addition, putting aside all the superficial aspects that made this movie an enjoyable cinematic feature, the thing that managed to capture my attention was the very moving story/message that if you, a mere human or an Intergalactic superhero, have even an ounce of self confidence, you are invincible. The universe' entire powers are at your disposal if you only trust yourself, if only you push your limits and then go beyond. Your true nature is way past you comfort zone and the journey might be dangerous and bumpy but eventually it will be worth it.

Now the other sensational aspect that i believe took this movie to the next level and even raised the bar for future Marvel films is the special effects/graphics that never felt/looked fake or unreal. They were colorful and enjoyable from start to finish. I highly salute the special effects team.

In addition, I really loved the idea that all characters were multilayered and really well developed. Each one symbolized a certain affection, taking the example of little Monica Rambeau that represented innocence and Carol Danvers whom in a way represented hope and power. And just like its characters, Captain Marvel is also multilayered, filled with empowering metaphors and hidden messages, all you need to do is look a little bit deeper. Look with your heart.

Moreover, the characters were fabulously portrayed by A-list performers whom each delivered something worthwhile. For example, Samuel L. Jackson with his humorous wit and Brie Larson with her sarcastic humor and attitude. But the true star of this movie is the cuddly Goose which im sure you guys will fall in love with.

But my only concern and the one that prevented me from giving this movie a perfect rating is that at the beginning it had zero sense of direction. It was literally all over the place and only towards the end it started to have a decent and stable direction and gain some momentum.

At the end, Captain Marvel is one hell of a cinematic experience that no one should miss out on.

P.S: you MUST stay past the ending credits as there is a surprise waiting for you.
