Fighting with My Family

A story worth “fighting” for - 7/10

by This Is My Review

The story of Saraya-Jade Bevis aka “Paige”, the “World Wrestling Entertainment” Champion... it has to be good. You don’t need to be a WWE fan to enjoy “Fighting With My Family”, because the message behind it is way deeper than wrestling and winning championships. It’s a story that tackles many social problems people usually face, and they knew how to put everything in the right frame. The movie was really interesting and managed to grab my attention from the very first scene, you feel connected to the characters and you understand their motives. Comedy was really good and essential especially during the first half, but it got weaker and became absent towards the end. Unfortunately some clichee moments used for dramatic purposes made the movie predictable. I’m aware that any true event or story should be changed to “fit the screen” but in this case, it was really obvious. “Fighting With My Family” is energetic, entertaining and fun... make sure you watch it.
