In a world where literally anything is attainable, even immortality, a soul remains the rarest. I have to admit, Alita took me by surprise, i wasn't expecting it to be this deep. Robert Rodriguez's interpretation of the human soul is by far the best thing about this movie.

Today most religions believe in an immortal soul that will forever live in either heaven or hell, while others believe in Reincarnation which was beautifully presented/tackled in Alita. Bodies come and go, there's an infinite number of bodies in this world but a soul is unique and rare. A soul is what gives this empty container a meaning and a purpose.

This sci-fi fantasy centers around Alita, a deactivated female cyborg that gets revived but cannot remember anything of her past life and goes on a quest to find out who she is.

Im absolutely mesmerized by the details included in this movie. Alita, a one of a kind character was fabulously captured as a fearless killing machine with a heart as pure as gold. The reflection of emotions on Alita's face are even better than those of a real actor. In other words, they were ultra-convincing and expressive. The realness of a such character is mind blowing . And what made it even better is her relationship with a human. This kind of relationships is nothing new in the industry but in Alita, Rodriguez managed to create an epic love story that transcends the common norms and works against all odds.

In addition, the CGI, the special effects and the graphics are simply really good and were able to create a dystopian vibe that's both haunting and enjoyable.

Plus, all those breathtaking action scenes that are choreographed to perfection will absolutely please every single adrenaline junkie in the audience. I mean the amount of work and details that are put into these sequences is really remarkable.

But unfortunately, some aspects of this movie weren't on the same level as the rest. Starting with the underwhelming script. Its so bad, i sometimes even rolled my eyes back at how cliché some lines were. To add, there isn't enough background study for the characters. I believe this blocked the movie from achieving its full potential. At the end, Alita is definitely an adventure that everyone should embark on. Totally worth watching especially on the big screen with all the 3D effects.
