A cinematic journey that begun with 2 previous entries finally gets the closure it deserves.
From unbreakable, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass. Joining from split are James McAvoy as Kevin Crumb and Anya Taylor-joy as Casey, Beast's only captive to ever survive. Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb's superhuman figure, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical for both men.
M. Night Shyamalan does it again, Glass is truly an experience not to miss. Combining what worked best in the previous 2 entries, this movie will absolutely exceed your imagination.
What attracted me the most about this movie is its dark and twisted vibe. Everything you saw or felt while watching Unbreakable or split will undoubtedly get amplified while watching Glass. It is eerier, scarier and definitely better.
To continue, the psychological aspect of this film is truly remarkable, Shyamalan knew how to highlight the importance of mental health and the consequences if left untreated or neglected (please if you ever feel the need to seek a professional, go do it. Don't neglect your mental health. Check Embrace for more) .
In addition, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson both delivered amazing performances but of course the star of Glass, the one that managed to steal every scene with his outstanding acting skills and electrifying performance was the Beast himself, James McAvoy. Im in absolute awe and speechless, all i can say is go watch him for yourselves. Perfection!
Moreover, Shyamalan's flavor/print was undeniably present in Glass. His unique directing skills were really dominant and hard-core fans will immediately recognize it.
Buf unfortunately, this movie had one Major flaw and it's the script. It was weak, unworthy and underdeveloped. It did not level up and was kinda disappointing.
In conclusion, Glass is surely a movie that delivered what it promised, a twisted experience with a side of rocking action.
Recommend it.
P.S: the ending is simply amazing but its not a crowd pleaser, so I'll leave it up to you to decide if you like it or not.
