Glass

A “breakable” sequel - 7/10

by This Is My Review

I had this weird feeling after watching M. Night Shyamalan’s GLASS, it had so many flaws especially in the script, but it didn’t actually bother me. It’s a sequel to the previous Split and Unbreakable, and to be honest this one is the weakest. It had many unnecessary dialogues, it was too long and couldn’t use the characters properly. All these problems do exist, but I think it wasn’t a catastrophic film. At some point you can understand the movie’s purpose and the actors were doing a good job. James McAvoy’s performance was terrific, although they overused his “characters”,  the charisma was still present. Samuel L. Jackson is always amazing as Mr. Glass, but Bruce Willis couldn’t really shine because his character was superficial, he was the weakest. The ending was controversial, the writer/Director wanted to keep it open to deliver his message, for me it was good but not as powerful as he wanted it to be. GLASS might not be the best film in this trilogy, but I’m pretty sure that it will entertain fans of this genre.
