The Mule

Eastwood’s Charisma is everything - 6.5/10

by This Is My Review

Clint Eastwood surprised me.... I didn’t know that he was good in comedy. At 82 he can still act and be the center of attention in every scene, that’s what you call a good charisma. The best word to describe “The Mule” would be: Superficial. The movie didn’t even bother digging deep so it was just presenting a story that could be summarized in one sentence. It became repetitive at some point as if they were just trying to increase the movie’s runtime. The final part was good, there is one specific quote that I loved towards the end. With all these flaws, I actually had fun watching it, I wasn’t bothered by any part or element. As I previously mentioned, Eastwood (the actor) was the strongest element in this movie. The movie could’ve been executed in a better way but believe me you might enjoy it even if you’re not a big fan of Eastwood’s work.
