I love Dr. Seuss, his stories are full of messages and lovable characters, unfortunately most of the adaptations are being too childish and not aiming for older audience (unlike Pixar for example). ”The Grinch” took no risks, it was playing safe to deliver a family experience that kids will enjoy more than adults. Great performance by Benedict Cumberbatch, this guy made the character real, plus the animation was amazing. It’s a great Christmas movie and a good adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ famous character.... but definitely not the best.
