Creed II

An emotional knockout - 8/10

by Cineholic

Nothing beats a good old movie more than a well structured, affiliated, nerve-racking sequel with an emotional knockout. Creed 2 wasn’t disappointing at all. It has met all the audience’s expectations, if not more. What i loved most about this movie is that it wasn’t fully about boxing. It was not the kind of movie that entertains you and as soon as u leave you forget everything. In fact, it has a well organized storyline built on a strong background and packed with emotions. Watching this movie was like reading a “self-help” book. The morals behind it are relatable to many aspects of our lives. Also, Creed 2 proved that fights aren’t necessarily in rings or battlefields. Fights can be dilemma conflicts or even conflicts between the person and his surrounding. And in order to win the fight he must know why is he going through all these struggles, for whom is he fighting for? One must know the goal in order to reach it.

To end with the great cast. Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone did an outstanding job, and Tessa Thompson was a muse who delivered a heartfelt emotional part. Overall, Creed 2 is a must watch, highly recommend, very entertaining with a strong message.
