I found a way to avoid being disappointed…. Enter with VERY low expectations!!! “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” might be a bit underwhelming but it’s not as bad as its predecessor. I believe all three FB movies have one crucial flaw: A Proper plan for the story. This issue is not allowing them to become memorable of even fun. I mean it's obvious that the plot of these films is a complete mess, it has SO MANY illogical elements and poorly explained decisions. The worst thing about this third instalment though is the fact that you can feel the lack of material presented on screen and the excessive use of long and unnecessary scenes that will later have zero impact on the main story. On the other hand, I had fun during the third act, mainly because of the interesting and beautifully-designed fight scenes and the great CGI that added a beautiful aspect to the film. The whole Wizarding World is still interesting and the musical score was a feast for the ears!! You will definitely enjoy “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” if you’re a true Potterhead because you can easily forgive them for being so messy and lost. Hopefully, this one will be the final “Fantastic Beasts” because it’s so painful to see them struggling to continue this incoherent story.
