When we watch blockbusters, we always tend to mix between the “event” happening on screen and the movie itself. Few MCU films were able to present great and memorable events while delivering a clever and meaningful plots at the same time (Avengers: Endgame would be the perfect example). I wouldn’t say that “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was disappointing because I enjoyed it so much and the Cinematic experience was really exceptional. The movie PERFECTLY dealt with this epic event and knew exactly what to present to his beloved fans. It’s loyal to the previous Marvel films, cleverly develops its characters and presents many iconic moments to the universe. But the main question that I kept asking myself after watching it: Is it a good MOVIE? And here’s were things become controversial and questionable. I found the plot itself to be weak with many illogical moments and rushed decisions. As if it was forced to go into many odd directions just to get to a certain point and the script wasn’t so convincing either. So overall, the excited Marvel fan in me was so satisfied with this new entry but I don’t think I’ll be rushing to revisit it anytime soon. It might not be the MCU’s best Spider-Man film to date (it’s maybe the weakest), but “No Way Home” is definitely an epic adventure that will make you laugh, cry and well… scream!!!
